Minis
On top of Christmas Session, SYP holds three “Minis” through out the year in different areas of Saskatchewan. These
Minis are similar to Session except they are held over a weekend at a local school. Using the school’s cafeteria we make
sure that you are fed and we also use the school for your sleeping arrangements. More importantly, we use the school’s gym
for our debate. Debate is always excellent and offers an oppurtunity for the youth of Saskatchewan to come together and
understand the issues of today. These are good events to check out SYP, although you need to be warned: once you start, it is
hard to stop coming!

The cost for minis is $40.00. This fee is NOT to be paid prior to the event, but rather upon arrival at said event.
Mini Registration:
a) Download and complete application form. Be sure to include any dietary or medical needs that may affect your weekend.
b) Submit the post-marked application via mail to the address provided on the application form. The electronic application can be submitted via in an attachment e-mail directly to the Deputy Leader of the Opposition (dlo@saskatchewanyouthparliament.com). E-mailed application are preferred as it saves paper and it much more efficient.
Applicants will receive a message confirming that the application has been received as is under review by members of the Board. Applicants are not officially registered until they have received notice that the application has been approved. Upon approval, more detailed information about the event will be provided by the DLO.
